New Year's resolutions midterm
So I was swimming at the SRSC today, and I was pleasantly surprised that I could do a few lengths before having to pause and pant relentlessly. This reminded me, that one of my goals back in January was to swim further. Back then I could only do one, maybe two widths of the pool at a time, max. 2 widths = 1 length. So here's a check up on how my goals have been coming along (my original resolutions) - have fun in my new classes: S118 was really cool, but I should have done more with L211. Chinese definitely became more fun, but there's still room for growth :) - not fall asleep in my new biology class (or any class!): OK, I give myself an F for this one - get a lil better at sketching, especially sketching girls: I made some progress. I think I drew a decent sketch of Natalie Portman. I would scan and post it, but it got a drink stain on it, and you would make fun of it. - develop a healthy and legal appreciation of anime: A+ for effort - be able to curl 50lbs easily by the end of the school year. hey! what are you laughing at?: I have no idea where I am on this. I haven't been in the gym since that scary girl started recognizing me. - be able to swim three widths of the pool in the SRSC breakstroke w/o stopping: It's a clown fish! No, it's a squid! NO! IT'S "AQUAMAN" LIN! Oh yeah baby. - enjoy a research lab, whatever it may be: undecided. I will have to revisit this in the fall when I'm projected to finish the current project. How have you guys done on your New Year's resolutions?
