Make a wish!

My friend Patti has folded 1000 cranes, as a gift to her mom's upcoming wedding. That's absolutely amazing. I am a casual origamist, but I've only folded...maybe 50 cranes my whole life. 1000 cranes is absolutely extraordinary! Society's obsession with frivolous papers (diplomas, contracts, certificates) is counterbalanced by the beauty and hope in origami. Sorry Trees, even when the world's textbooks are fully digitized, you're still going to be harvested for origami purposes.
