-_-.....o.0

So this morning at 3 or 4, I'm not really sure when, the fire alarm went off. It sounded, like Mike put it, "a swarm of bees." At first I didn't know what the buzzing buzzing was, but decided it was wise to open the door and check it out. The noise suddenly got louder and clearer, and I realized what it was. DAMN! I thought late-night fire drills were a tradition of Read, not Teter! I'm not too sure exactly what my reasoning was, but I closed the door and went back to bed. Then I started hearing what sounded like Mike and Jeff next door opening and closing a lot of drawers. Were they trying to pack and save all of their valuables from the fire? No way. Then there was a loud knock on my door, and I realized that I wasn't hear the closing of drawers, but the knocking of doors. I had to get out and go to Rabb. It was cold and snowy and dark. My fellow Teterites all agreed. The firemen came to "rescue us." The door was locked. We had to push it open for them. They turned off the alarm. We went back to sleep. I'm not really pissed about this though. In a weird way, the fire alarm actually gave me more sleep. I know that sounds paradoxical, but it really did. If you can figure out how, you get a cookie.
