Analysis: It's clear that Cingular, Sprint, and Nextel are the cell phone companies that people complain the most about (results for "virgin sucks" thrown out after realizing primarily what kind of sites that search returned). If you look at the overall number, Sprint by far has the most complaints; but then again, some of the "sprint sucks" websites are referring to the landline part of that company.
Try breaking it down to complaints per capita/user. Cingular/ATT is the nation's largest network. Proportionally, it ought to have twice as many complaints as Sprint. This takes Cingular out of the picture, leaving Sprint and Nextel and adding T-Mobile as the most complained about cell phone companies, per capita.
Conclusion: Sprint is one of the suckiest, stay away from it. (yeah--I'm gunning to be on the first page of google results for sprint sucks). No this study is not commissioned by Verizon. Oh no, it looks like
Sprint and Nextel will merge!

I agree with your friend Paul about land lines. Who really needs these ludicrous cell phone things anyway?
