Friday I watched "Aiqing mala tang," or "Spicy Love Soup," with the Chinese dept. Excellent movie. I guess it reminds me slightly of the "Chung-king Express" that Siou so loves, but it has a subject instead of just following the story. Aiqing mala tang just seems so much more real world than the wacky Chung-king Express. And plus, with a name like SPICY LOVE SOUP how can you go wrong? I seroiusly cried at some parts. What? SHUT UP! It's just the hormones that make me cry. The testosterone. And besides the opera and Team America, I also watched the rest of the Full Metal Alchemist anime series. Excellent excellent series. It compares favorably with Naruto, with the exception that its music videos in the beginning and end of the epsiodes aren't as good, but hey, Naruto is just super amazing in that category! So a tally: Hikaru No Go - watched all ~70 Naruto - caught up to current episode (120) Full Metal Alchemist - watched all 50 Bleach - caught up to current episode (17) Trigun - 13 episodes watched Excellent. Now if only I can add a Chinese anime or two to my list, haha. Some more Japanese I've picked up: nii-chan, koize, mate, VASHE ZE STAMPEEDE, etc
