that guy is awesome. a prominent scientist who is not a jackass, yet funny. and i got to eat dinner with him! if there are any more wells dinners, i am sooo going (well, I didn't sign up for the one with robert colescott, ah well. oh yeah, and the food was good too, haha. and then, after a brief bout of homework, it was off to fun night...which definitely was worth putting off homework, haha. that means you, mike and tom, need to get out of your dorms. i mean, the "it's too cold" excuse that I used before no longer applies since fun night is indoors until the spring. reasons why you should go to fun night: 1) it's healthy for you. 700% RDA of Vitamin A! 2) you make lots of money. Peter won a summer abroad playing poker 3) you can play crazy uno! crazy uno! no need for more words 4) french card games aren't as funky as the french (who outlawed those scarves that muslim women wear to cover their neck and head). in fact, getting "essence" sounds so much better than getting "gas" and yeah, those four reasons help justify my decision to put off my homework. alas, that means i still have things to do tonight. god, i think i actually have to start studying chinese. came across the first character I couldn't write today in class :(
