bio class...or is it anatomy?

prof ruesink: So in this final step of glycolysis, you get one molecule of glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate and one molecule of dihydroxyacetone phosphate. Don't worry about this second one, essentially, glycolysis ends in two molecules of glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate. ....it's like if you had a couple come in here, and you split them apart to get one guy and one girl. And then you gave the guy a sex change and you have two girls! So we're just going to mess with the two girls here.
