let's do the time warp....again!

Yesterday, I discovered that every time I started my car, it was 12:00 on the dot. My car can control TIME! How did my '92 taurus gain this unimaginable power? It broke a door light switch. Yeah, it's this little spingy thing that tells you when your door is open or closed so that the car can turn on the internal lights...kinda like that little wedge that control's god's light in the refrigerator. So yeah, my lights are stuck ON all the time. BLINDING. They waste my battery. So my dad told me to just unplug the battery whenever I get out of the car, at least until we can get a new door switch from autozone. So now, every time I reconnect the battery, the clock resets to 12:00. I loose all my radio station presets. Ack. Some time machine. I guess since the battery is locked in the trunk of my car (don't ask), at least my car can't be hotwired by my crazy neighborhood children.
